The KDF media used in this shower filter are high-purity copper-zinc formulations used in treatment applications to reduce heavy metals, hydrogen sulfide, microorganisms, and scale. Water filtered through redox media controls microorganism growth. High-purity copper-zinc redox media consistently removes 99%+ of free chlorine by electrochemically reducing dissolved chlorine gas to water-soluble chloride ions.

Easy to install and universal shower filter

This shower head filter will work with most shower heads. It can be placed between an existing shower head and any standard 1/2-inch NPT shower arm with no extra equipment. The installation process is also very easy – simply screw this filter in between the shower pipe coming from your wall and your existing shower head, and you're good to go!

The filter will work with cold and hot water, but the maximum operating temperature is 120 degrees Fahrenheit. It also ensures even distribution of water throughout the media and can filter up to 1.8 gallons per minute. It can filter up to 22,500 gallons of water or work for 12 months (whichever comes first), after which it needs to be replaced.
